Who even are you?

Hello hello. I’m Sophie and here I am in front of some fabulous wallpaper.

I originally hail from Northern Ireland but am now based in Essex with my partner, two kids and three chickens. I write flash and short fiction for lovers of the uncanny, folky and wyrd. My work has featured in a range of literary magazines and I published my debut novella Seven Days in League with Stan in June 2026.

When I’m not writing, I’m usually in the garden, collecting obscure hobbies or trying recipes from my cookbook collection. Or reading, but that goes without saying really.
